Šenčur is well connected to national road infrastructure since there is a motorway running through it. It has very intensive daily migration activity, where cars are still the most common means of transportation for commuters travelling to work and to other parts of the region.

Public transportation connecting other municipalities is frequent and often used. People walk when going for short trips since pedestrian infrastructure is well developed. There are pedestrian connections between some of the settlements in the municipality.

Relatively small municipality, flat terrain and short distances are ideal for cycling that is gaining popularity as mode of mobility. Nevertheless, pedestrian and cycling infrastructure are still not fully equipped and developed.
