Grosuplje lies close to the capital city of Ljubljana and close to railway and motorway, therefore it is well connected and accessible. It makes the municipality attractive for living.

Pedestrian infrastructure is poorly equipped and insufficient, partly even close to schools. The same goes for the cycling infrastructure that is not interconnected. Public transportation is used, but it is not frequent enough to be efficient and to be perceived as attractive mode of mobility. Busses and trains lack mutual coordination to form a well-functioning public transportation.
