Reșița is the capital city of Caras-Severin county, in the western part of Romania, with a very rich history of being an industrial and siderurgical center.

Nowadays, the municipality has a strong focus on development of public transport system based on electric means: tram (that was out of function in the last 8 years) and also electric buses, but also the development of infrastructure for alternative means of transport (biking and walking).

70M euro investments in sustainable urban mobility infrastructure, with ERDF support were planned in the next 4 years.
