The main issues discussed during the meeting were benefits which city can get from the project, related to financial aspects of the projects. The city representatives had a request to the Organizers for presenting the European Unions grants in which implementing the SUMP can help to receive the subsidy. A Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan aims to create a sustainable urban transport system, by addressing at least the following objectives and convince cities to be a part of the network by:

• Ensure the transport system is accessible to all;

• Improve the safety and security of its users;

• Reduce air and noise pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption;

• Improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the transportation of persons and goods;

• Enhance the attractiveness and quality of the urban environment.

The participants were very sutisfated with the quality of presentations which they found insightful. They had a chance to exchange their knowledge and express their expectations in relation to SUMP. At the end of the meetig each participant received a Certificate of Participation signed by CEO of CIFAL Płock. The results of the self-assessment matrix gathered during the first half of the workshop session served as a material for discussing the challenges Polish cities are facing with reference to developing a holistic approach towards sustainable urban mobility plans. A comprehensive summary of the information gathered with the use of self-asessments sheets was the meeting's final point.
