Overall Project Description show_help

The EcopAssi project aims to provide alternative and more convenient solutions than the car for the systematic trips home-work for workers who work in the stores on Corso Zanardelli, Corso Palestro, Via Lombroso, Via Crocifissa, as well as incentives and solutions for those who go shopping.

Description of the system effects show_help

People have adopted new attitudes and are more likely to use alternative transport modes and some of them have already changed their own choices in travelling. The employees have started considering the possibility of using alternative modes, although further initiatives should be necessary for them to actually shift to other modes

Lessons Learned show_help

As it is increasingly acknowledged that in many instances behavioural change does not occur as a one-step process and can instead be viewed as a series of stages (or steps) which individuals progress through in order to reach the final stage, a new habitual behaviour, it is necessary to persevere in giving continuously the information measures at the end of the project.
