Overall Project Description show_help

The VU Medical Centre in the 90s has been very active in transport management. The occasion was on one hand the increase in parking problems and on the other hand the the difficulty in obtaining good staff. The measures, including a transport-, a bicycle- and a parkingplan and measures have paid off. In 2006 it was found that a new impetus is needed. The background to this was partly the new environmental permit. / Het VU Medische Centrum is in de jaren '90 zeer actief geweest met vervoermanagement. Aanleiding was enerzijds de toename van de parkeerproblemen en anderzijds de moeilijkheden om aan goed personeel te komen en te behouden. De maatregelen, waaronder een vervoerplan, een parkeerplan en fietsmaatregelen, hebben de nodige vruchten afgeworden. In 2006 is geconstateerd dat er een nieuwe impuls nodig is. De achtergrond hiervan was onder meer de nieuwe milieuvergunning.

H: The share of public transport use is unchanged (38.5% in 2000, 39.0% in 2005), the share of bicycle or moped has increased from 14% in 2000 to 25% in 2005. The workforce is increased 24%.Parking problems have become manageable and staff turnover is reduced. / Het aandeel OV gebruik is vrijwel onveranderd (38,5% in 2000, 39,0% in 2005), het aandeel fiets of brommer is gestegen van 14% in 2000 naar 25% in 2005. Het personeelsbestand is met 24% toegenomen.Parkeerproblemen zijn beheersbaar geworden en personeelsverloop is verminderd.
