With the 'Waal Sprinter' a solution is offered to commuters who want to get faster in Nijmegen Centre and Heijendaal using the Waal Bridge. De Waal Sprinter uses the bus lane on the Waal bridge to the center and then drives non-stop to Heijendaal.
Motorists can park their car at the P + R Waal Sprinter (near the ovatonde at Ressen) for € 2, - and use the Waal Sprinter to travel further to the center of Nijmegen and Heijendaal. In rush hour shuttle buses run every 10 minutes. Outside the rush hour ride shuttle buses every fifteen minutes.
