Overall Project Description show_help

Because of the centralization a.s.r. would have to deal with a parking shortage. The number of employees would increase from about 2,400 in 2011 to 3,600 in 2013. This 'new' staff often live further from a.s.r. However, the number of employees that visit a.s.r. daily will decrease with the introduction of New Ways of Working (NWW). By NWW a.s.r. will in the future become a meeting / conference space more often. Nevertheless, a shortage of parking expected. As a solution, it was decided that everyone who lives within 10 kilometers is not entitled to a parking space. Later the decision was made that also externals basically get no more parking space. At first the new policy was five days a week, later it was decided that on Wednesday and Friday anyone could park. The lease drivers (a few hundred, of which a limited number is regulary in Utrecht) fall outside the scheme.
