Overall Project Description show_help

Twente Mobiel organized the Twente Cycling Campaign 2012 as a part of the Beter Benutten Scheme. This campaign was exclusively meant for employees of the Twente Mobiel covenant partners. These companies and organizations cooperate to increase the accessibility of the region. Most of the employees live within cycling distances but travel to work by car. By participating in the Cycling Action the employees promote their staff to cycle to work more often.

Description of the system effects show_help

238 car drives still cycle to work one day or more per week after two years.
92 of them cycle 4 or more days a week to work.

Lessons Learned show_help

A short action period and an attractive offer, communication within the company and the message 'hurry up, the offer has almost gone' resulted in rapid action by the participants.
A servicedesk answered questions of participants by phone or email during office hours.
