A debate for the future of Mobility

The Municipality of Cascais, together with EPOMM, proudly announces the ECOMM 2020 ONLINE!

A unique event gathering the authors of the submitted papers to discuss the most pressing themes regarding mobility and with an additional focus on mobility in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The seven themed debates are held online on four Tuesdays, from the 9th to the 30th of June 2020. Each session lasts 90 minutes and has a panel composed by 1 moderator and 3 invited speakers. This initiative, in an alternative format, is also a foretaste for ECOMM 2021.

Each of the selected themes for the ECOMM 2020 ONLINE is related to the original concept of the conference: “New Mobility...New Realities for People and Cities... OUTRA VEZ!”. The list of topics and respective dates is as follows:

• Debate 1 - MaaS, Mobility as a Service: A New Transport Model (June 9th - 10:00 - 11:30 CET)
• Debate 2 - Circular Economy and Shared Economy: Mobility as a Business? (June 9th - 14:30 - 16:00 CET)
• Debate 3 - The Future of Mobility: Disruptive Technologies Create New Realities (June 16th - 10:00 - 11:30 CET)
• Debate 4 - How to “Nudge” People into New Mobility Thinking and Behavior (June 16th - 14:30 - 16:00 CET)
• Debate 5 - New Mobility – An Opportunity for Urban and Rural Regeneration (June 23rd - 10:00 - 11:30 CET)
• Debate 6 - Inequalities – Mobility Management as a tool for Social Inclusion (June 23rd - 14:30 - 16:00 CET)
• Debate 7 - 2021 – Redefining Tomorrow's Mobility Management (June 30th - 10:00 - 11:30 CET)
