develops tailor-made solutions for individual and collective traffic problems

At the site level, mobility services are only offered to site users. Here, the operating unit is a Mobility Office, which differs from a Mobility Centre because services are not offered to the general public. Its form can vary from a simple help desk in a company, which employees can reach by phone, to a ’drop-in’ advice centre with its own room.

Also, the services might be somewhat reduced - or specially directed to and elaborated for the site, where they are located. Nevertheless, it is recommendable, that the Mobility Office is connected to a Mobility Centre. Staff members are then able to get answers to questions that are beyond their knowledge. Once the Mobility Office is well accepted and employees have profited from its services, they are likely to contact it for broader mobility related information or services than in the beginning.

The Mobility Office can also be responsible for the set up and implementation of a Mobility Plan.
