puts MM into practice at the site, starting from investigations up to coordinating activities

A Mobility Coordinator’s tasks include the provisional implementation of a Mobility Plan and / or a Mobility Office on the site level. She or he will carry out investigations like surveys and interviews among the site users in order to develop specific services for this site. The Mobility Coordinator also has to ensure the support of the responsible authorities or management.

From an organisational viewpoint, ideally she or he is located centrally within the organisation’s structure. As the name suggests, coordinating tasks are very important. This refers not only to coordination within the site’s organisation (i. e. owners, management, employees), but also among transport suppliers, local authorities, commercial associations, unions, and whoever belongs to the alliance of interested and supporting parties.
