10th ECOMM in Groningen 2006

The last ECOMM was the 10th in the series – a jubilee ECOMM. It was held from 10 to 12 May 2006 in Groningen. The main theme of the conference was:

ACCESSIBILITY AND ATTRACTIVENESS OF CITIES
how can Mobility Management contribute to this?

The subject was treated in four streams:

• Co-operation in mobility management on a regional scale
• Accessibility of urban areas
• Attractiveness of cities
• Public participation and solutions for target groups

The conference offered 16 different workshops on the central themes of Mobility Management. Excursions guide you through the number one cycling city of the Netherlands, a city that witnessed stunning changes to become a more liveable city.
