The Transport Division of The Austrian Energy Agency has been dealing with Mobility Management issues and energy efficiency in transport for almost two decades.
Since 2004 AEA is also managing klimaaktiv mobil, Austria’s Federal initiative for climate protection in transport, launched by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Environment and Water Management www.klimaaktivmobil.at
The initiative contributes to the Austrian national strategies on clean air, health and sustainable resource use
- action programs: information, counselling and support in the field mobility management
- mobility management programs are tailor-made for various target groups
- free expert consulting is available
- financial support for investments in CO2 reduction measures
- awareness raising and PR campaigns for the general public
Austrian Energy Agency’s Mission
The Austrian Energy Agency is a non-profit energy research and policy institution. Its mission is to promote rational use of energy and a stimulation of renewable energy sources and of innovative technologies. The Austrian Energy Agency is located in Vienna (Austria) and it is member of the European Energy Network (EnR).
